A few days ago we launched three new sites to improve our web site:
Let's give a warm welcome to Chile, Spain and UK! Now we can share all our favorite movies with our friends in those countries, we will be a bigger family within our community!!!
We hope you enjoy it!
Yesterday we have reached 1,000,000 movie ratings at Cinemaki.com! These ratings correspond to our +30,000 registered users in Mexico, Brazil, India and Argentina.
We are very pleased to have achieved this goal. The more ratings our community has, the more precise the Afinimaki recommendations will be!
Thank you all for being a part of Cinemaki!
Cinemaki Happy Team
We have added a recommendation forum (provided by UserVoice) to our website. With this new feature our community can suggest and prioritise ideas for Cinemaki.
We want to hear your feedback and make a better website. Let us know what you think!
Today we have installed a new mobile version (Beta, already??). This new version adapts to the mobile viewport using the great WURLF Database and API.
We have also enhanced the layout of the main mobile pages, to reduce loadtimes and provide better user experience.
We hope you enjoy this new mobile version!
One of the most boring tasks in web programming is to support the wide variety of browsers. No matter how much you do respect the W3C standards, you will always need a particular fix to a particular
browser.
Today we installed a new version of Cinemaki that correct renders on Chrome, Safari and Internet Explorer 6.
Chrome and Safari users will be able to see their favourites cinemas at the showtimes tab, in every movie page.
Internet Explorer 6 users will see nicer widget borders all over our website. IE6 has a historic bug rendering transparent PNG images, that can be partially fix with some Javascript.
Our favourite browser is Firefox; so if you are looking for a recommendation, just install Firefox!
